Description:
A ready-to-use, elastomeric waterproofing material containing acrylic resin that can be applied with a brush or roller.
Advantages:
• Ready-to-use
• Elastic structure provides resistance to temperature changes
• Resistant to light foot traffic
• Resistant to water puddling
• Can be painted over with acrylic paint or covered with ceramic tiles
Usage areas:
Used for waterproofing under ceramic tiles, in bathrooms, toilets, wet areas, on concrete, screed, and plastered surfaces, on non-walkable terraces, in hidden gutters, roof insulation, and for waterproofing of metal, galvanized sheet, panel, and cement board surfaces.
• The surface must be clean, smooth, and free from residues such as mold release agents and loose particles.
• Significant surface defects and holes should be repaired with CORION REPAIR FIX 03 group structural repair mortars at least 24 hours before applying CORION ACR FLEX 2001.
• Difficult surfaces such as old bitumen and metal should be primed with CORION ACR LATEX MA 8001 for high adhesion.
• It should not be applied against negative water pressure.
• Salt water should not be used under any circumstances.
• No foreign materials should be added. Expansion joints on the application surfaces should not be sealed with CORION ACR FLEX 2001, and continuity of waterproofing at these points should be ensured with expansion joint tapes.
• All tools used after application should be washed with water before drying.
Application Conditions:
•Ambient temperature should be between +5 degrees Celsius and +5°C and +35°C.
•It should not be applied in very hot weather.
•It should not be applied on frozen or surfaces at risk of freezing.
Uygulama:
- After the primer coat has dried, CORION ACR FLEX 2001 should be applied to the entire surface with at least 2 coats without thinning, using a roller, brush, or spray method.
- Thin cracks, joints, corners, and edges should be reinforced with polyester felt after the first coat application.
- In terrace roofs, polyester felt application should be done on the entire surface after the first coat application. After the first coat is dried, the second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first one.
- There should be a waiting time of at least 6 hours between coats.
Application Tools:
Hand mixer, brush, trowel
Consumption:
1.5-2.0 kg/m2 (for 1 mm application thickness)
- Use appropriate safety equipment (mask, gloves, goggles).
- Protect your eyes and face.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- For detailed safety information, please read the Material Safety Data Sheet.
Only the mixing liquid should be used for the mixture, and water should not be added under any circumstances.
Foreign materials must not be added. Expansion joints on application surfaces should not be filled with CORION SUPER FLEX 3003. Continuity of insulation at these points should be ensured with expansion joint insulation tapes.
In wet volume applications, moving points and vertical and horizontal corners should be supported with corner insulation tapes.
Surfaces where CORION SUPER FLEX 3003 is applied should be protected from direct sunlight, air currents, and freezing for 3 days. If necessary, the surface should be wetted and kept moist.
In surfaces that may be subjected to mechanical impacts, a protective layer such as ceramics should be applied over CORION SUPER FLEX 3003.
Ceramic coating or other similar coatings should not be applied for 3 days after the CORION SUPER FLEX 3003 application.
All tools used after the application should be washed with water before they are completely dry.
