Description:
Polymer emulsion-modified, cement-acrylic-based, two-component, fully elastic waterproofing mortar.
Reference standards:
TS EN 14891 / April 2013
Liquid-applied cementitious waterproofing under standard conditions and at low temperatures with crack bridging ability.
CE
Advantages:
• Safe use in wet areas, terraces, swimming pools, and water tanks
• Suitable for application of ceramic and similar coating materials
• Suitable for drinking water
• Fully elastic structure for temperature differences
• Easy and convenient application.
Usage area:
It is used as an under-tile waterproofing material in all buildings, especially in wet areas such as balconies, bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens, as well as in terraces, swimming pools, and water tanks.
- The surface must be clean, moist, smooth, and sound. Significant irregularities and holes on the surface should be repaired with CORION REPAIR FIX 03 repair mortar at least 24 hours before the application of CORION FLEX FULL 3002.
- To ensure the continuity of the waterproofing, vertical and horizontal corners should be chamfered with CORION REPAIR FIX 03 repair mortars.
- Highly porous surfaces such as raw concrete and cement-based plaster should be moistened with clean water, and the surface should be left until the water layer disappears, keeping the surface moist.
Application Conditions:
• The ambient temperature should be between +15°C and +35°C.
• Avoid applying the product in very humid and/or very hot weather.
• Do not apply on frozen, thawing or surfaces that are in danger of freezing within 24 hours.
Application:
• For each layer, the slow addition of 20 kg powder component to 10 kg liquid component should be mixed slowly with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency is obtained, which takes about 2-3 minutes.
• After resting the mixture for 2-3 minutes, it should be mixed again before application.
• CORION FLEX FULL 3002 should be applied to the entire surface with a brush or trowel at least 2 layers. The application of each layer should be perpendicular to the previous one.
• It is necessary to wait at least 6 hours between layers.
Application Tools:
Hand mixer, brush, trowel
Consumption:
1.5-2.0 kg/m2 (for 1 mm application thickness)
- Use appropriate safety equipment (mask, gloves, goggles).
- Protect your eyes and face.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- For detailed safety information, please read the Material Safety Data Sheet.
- Only the mixing liquid should be used for the mixture, and water should not be added under any circumstances.
- Foreign materials must not be added. Expansion joints on application surfaces should not be filled with CORION SUPER FLEX 3003. Continuity of insulation at these points should be ensured with expansion joint insulation tapes.
- In wet volume applications, moving points and vertical and horizontal corners should be supported with corner insulation tapes.
- Surfaces where CORION SUPER FLEX 3003 is applied should be protected from direct sunlight, air currents, and freezing for 3 days. If necessary, the surface should be wetted and kept moist.
- In surfaces that may be subjected to mechanical impacts, a protective layer such as ceramics should be applied over CORION SUPER FLEX 3003.
- Ceramic coating or other similar coatings should not be applied for 3 days after the CORION SUPER FLEX 3003 application.
- All tools used after the application should be washed with water before they are completely dry.
