Description:
A ready-to-use, super elastic, UV-resistant waterproofing material containing elastomeric acrylic resin for application.
Advantages:
• Improved UV resistance and reflection properties
• Super elastic structure that can withstand temperature differences
• Bridging of cracks greater than 1 mm even at low temperatures
• Difficult to soil and easy to clean
• Resistance to water pooling
• Resistance to light foot traffic
• Safe use on metal surfaces
Usage areas:
It is used as a UV-resistant, ready-to-use, super elastic waterproofing material in all indoor and outdoor structures, roofs, gutters, chimneys, and parapet edges.
- The surface must be clean, smooth, and sound, free from mold release agents such as mold oil and loose particles that may prevent adhesion.
- Significant surface irregularities and holes must be repaired with CORION REPAIR FIX 03 structural repair mortars at least 24 hours prior to the application of CORION ACR FLEX UV 2002.
- The surfaces to be applied should be primed with CORION ACR FLEX UV 2002 diluted with 1/4 water. Difficult surfaces such as old bitumen and metal should be primed with CORION ACR LATEX MA 8001 for high adhesion.
Application Conditions:
• Ambient temperature between +5°C and +35°C.
• Application should not be done in very hot weather conditions.
• Should not be applied on frozen or surfaces under the risk of freezing.
Application:
After the primer coat has dried, CORION ACR FLEX UV 2002 should be applied to the entire surface with at least 2 coats using a roller, brush, or spray method without thinning it.
Fine cracks, joints, corners, and edges should be reinforced with polyester felt after the first coat application.
In terrace roofs, polyester felt application should be done on the entire surface after the first coat application. After the first coat is dried, the second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first coat.
Wait for at least 6 hours between coats.
Application tools:
Hand mixer, brush, trowel
Consumption:
1.5-2.0 kg/m2 (for 1 mm application thickness)
