Description:
Cement-based, single-component, crystalline waterproofing mortar that is resistant to negative and positive water pressure.
Reference Standards: CE
Advantages:
• Resistance to negative and positive water pressure
• Ability to penetrate the capillary gaps of cementitious surfaces
• Suitable for use with drinking water
• Easy and convenient application.
Usage area:
It is used as a waterproofing material in all indoor and outdoor structures, especially in foundation and basement walls, water tanks, and swimming pools.
• The surface must be clean, dry, smooth, and sound.
• Significant defects and holes on the surface should be repaired with CORION REPAIR FIX 03 repair mortars at least 24 hours before applying CORION CRY 1K 3301.
• Expansion joints on the application surfaces should not be filled with CORION CRY 1K 3301. Instead, expansion joint sealing tapes should be used for continuity of the waterproofing.
• Vertical and horizontal corners should be chamfered with CORION REPAIR FIX 03 repair mortars to ensure the continuity of the waterproofing.
Application conditions:
• Ambient temperature between +5°C and +35°C.
• Application should not be done in very hot weather conditions.
• Should not be applied on frozen or surfaces under the risk of freezing.
Application:
For each layer, 25 kg of CORION CRY 1K 3301 should be mixed with 6.5-7.0 liters of clean water using a low-speed mixer for approximately 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. The mixture should then be applied to the surface using a brush or trowel in at least two layers. The application of each layer should be perpendicular to the previous one. A minimum of 6 hours should be allowed between layers.
Application Tools:
Brush, roller, trowel.
Consumption:
