Description:
It is a fast-setting, one-component, ready-to-use cement-based waterstop mortar
Advantages:
• Can be used as powder or mortar
• Rapid setting without the use of additives
• Can set even when water is flowing
Usage areas:
Used for stopping active water leaks, for stopping underwater applications, for waterproofing concrete surfaces, for water tanks, for reinforced concrete water pipes, for stopping pressurized water, and for negative and positive water insulation.
- The surface should be clean, smooth, and firm.
- Residues such as dust, oil, paint, etc. should be thoroughly cleaned from the surface to be applied with a wire brush.
- A leakage hole with a minimum size of 3×3 cm should be created to reduce water pressure.
- The depth-to-width ratio should be 2/1.
Application conditions:
• Ambient temperature between +5°C and +35°C.
• Application should not be done in very hot weather.
• It should not be applied on frozen or potentially frozen surfaces.
Application:
Application as mortar:
The mortar, which is prepared by mixing a small amount of water (approximately 0.25 liters of water for 1 kg of powder) in a clean container and kneaded quickly, should be pressed to close the hole in one move as soon as CORION WASSERSTOP SPEED 3309 starts to set with temperature rise and left for at least 30 seconds. In the following minute, the surface should be leveled with a trowel.
In large diameter holes, the area around the hole should be closed first, leaving a smaller hole in the center, and then application should be made to the small hole.
Application as powder:
A small amount of powder taken into the palm with gloves should be pressed in one move to the point where water leakage occurs, and left for at least 20 seconds until CORION WASSERSTOP SPEED 3309 completes its setting and the water leakage is stopped. This pressing should be continued until the water leakage is completely stopped.
Application tools:
Hand mixer, brush, trowel
Consumption:
1.5-2.0 kg/m2 (for 1 mm application thickness)
